Overlooking the beautiful Howitt Park and Ovens River, Robyn, Greg and their fabulous staff are excited to welcome guests to the historic Riverdeck Kitchen. Operating for over 20 years, The Riverdeck continues to offer amazing food, delicious drinks and great service in one of Bright’s loveliest locations.
The Riverdeck Kitchen Crew invite guests to experience our delicious all-day breakfast and amazing lunches along with great coffee, drinks and house made sweets. Our restaurant’s spacious indoor dining area and large dog-friendly deck makes it the perfect spot for locals and visitors alike to catch up. Relax in this scenic alpine location and enjoy some of the best food, drinks and friendly service in Victoria’s North East.
We are open seven days a week from 8am-3:30pm. Our kitchen closes at 3.00pm. Last orders for drinks & sweets is 3.20pm.
Our menu focuses on fresh, seasonal produce with high-quality ingredients sourced from local growers and suppliers. All of our sweets are made in house and many of our jams and sauces are available to take home with you. We value our customers and endevour to cater for all dietary needs with our diverse menu boasting a range of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.
The Riverdeck Kitchen is a fully licensed venue offering a range of local wines, beers, spirits and cocktails.
Our venue operates on a walk-in only system. We do not take bookings as many guests enjoy a quick coffee and cake while others like to relax a bit longer enjoying a meal with family or friends. Offering full table service our friendly staff will greet you at the entrance, show you to your table and take your order.
During busy periods, our friendly staff and information signage will alert guests to any abnormal wait times for meals or drinks.
Current COVID -19 Operating Restrictions
Please remember our venue operates under COVID safe conditions not back to normal business. We continue to operate under recommended guidelines.
Masks are encouraged indoors and must be worn if you are a household contact of a covid postive person.
Social distancing of 1.5m must still be maintained.
Full table service is provided.
Tables & chairs are sanitised between seatings.
Please be patient and kind to our staff who are just doing their job.
