Join us at the Riverdeck and enjoy a coffee or meal overlooking the beautiful Howitt Park and Ovens River. On the deck or under our marquee is just the place for a delicious meal or refreshing drink. Check out the Visitors Centre next door and plan your trip around the region with use of our free Wifi.
The beautiful and ever-changing Autumn is upon us and there is no better spot to enjoy the beauty of Bright than from the Riverdeck. Our new menu is delicious and complemented by daily specials as well as a great selection of regional wine, cider and beer. Open everyday, our fabulous breakfast is available from 8am until 11:30am. Our lunch menu begins at 12 and continues through til 4.00pm everyday. Our yummy sandwiches and focaccias are available from 8am – 3pm.
The Riverdeck is a great place to enjoy great food and local wine every day alfresco on the deck or inside in front of the fireplace.

The Riverdeck joins forces with our close neighbours Bright Brewery to “EMBRACE THE DARKNESS OF WINTER IN BRIGHT” at the 2018 DARKER DAYS Festival

DARKER DAYS returns to brighten the dark days of winter in Bright on Saturday 30th June 2018.
DARKER DAYS is a dark beer and mid-winter festival that brings together High Country producers and operators, entertainers, beer lovers and families to toast the season and welcome the return of lighter days following the Winter Solstice.
DARKER DAYS is a showcase of local produce and activities that celebrate winter in Victoria’s Alpine valleys. This family friendly and community-minded festival is centered around locally produced dark beers and warming foods, along with live music and winter activities.
After the sun sets, Bright Brewery’s riverside lands will truly come alive with a spectacular ceremonial burning of a giant wooden structure in the shape of Bright Brewery’s logo.
Come gather around the fires to make damper and to roast marshmallows and chestnuts. Hear campfire tales and maybe even a ghost story or two.
It will be a full day of mid-winter fun!
Enjoy the food & festivities from 12 noon til 9pm Saturday 30th June.
The Riverdeck will be delighting the crowd with winter warming curries and delicious Turkish delight and Chilli hot chocolate through out the day and night.

Spring in Bright and the surrounding Alpine areas is spectacular. Every year, Bright holds a Spring Festival where there are beautiful gardens to visit, cafes and restaurants in Bright to enjoy, walking tracks and bike trails to discover, along with a grand fireworks display and markets to enjoy. What more can we say about summer – Bright is one of the best places to spend it, by the river, in the splash park and then just nip up to the Riverdeck for lunch and a nice cold ice chocolate.
Again, another beautiful season in Bright – with the leaves turning and the abundance of colour it makes Bright one of the most beautiful places in Australia.
